The Kettering University GM Mobility 研究 Center, an autonomous vehicle testing track, is the only one of its kind on a college campus in the country. The outdoor lab space and proving ground enhances faculty, 学生, and industry research and development of autonomous vehicles, vehicle safety standards, 混合动力, and electric vehicle technologies, 在其他用途中. Facility Components And Test Pad
The 21-acre Mobility 研究 Center is a state-of-the-art proving ground that includes a 3.25-acre customizable all-weather test pad built to race track performance specifications with low-speed handling loops, 海拔高度 and surface change with diverse testing environments and fully customizable with straightaway distances of up to 500-ft.

Vehicle Support And 研究 Flexibility
The Harris Mobility 研究 annex is a 3,000 sq. ft facility with secured and private spaces for prototype development. The 研究 Annex is temperature controlled with a single drive-thru bay and a heavy duty two-post vehicle lift.
The facility includes Level-II EV charging options and supports various fuel sources, 包括汽油, 丙烷, 天然气, 和氢.
